Established in 1898, the Benromach Distillery has a long, volatile history. Due to an economic depression and two World Wars, the Distillery was in a constant state of change. The business changed hands numerous times and was even inactive for many years. However in 1998, the Distillery reopened and production resumed. Benromach Scotch Whiskey is crafted by experienced distillers using only the finest Scottish malted barley and pure spring water from the Romach hills. On the nose, notes of citrus fruit blend with hints of honey and pine. Smokey flavors of cereal and malt on the palate are complemented by spicy, peppery notes with a delicate floral edge. The slightly sweet finish is complemented by subtle notes of smoke and vanilla. Product of Scotland Alcohol by Volume 40 Categories All Whiskey, Whiskey, Spirits, Scotch Whisky
